Former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack Coming to Baraboo

Hooty's Steakhouse Bar & Grill (map)

Selected By: John Meegan

Richard Mack, former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona and long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights will be speaking to the Sauk County Tea Party on Tuesday, August 24 from 10-11:30AM at Hooty’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Baraboo. As a service to the community, this event is open to the public.

Mr. Mack is the author of “County Sheriff – America’s Last Hope” which covers decades of research and proves that the sheriffs are indeed the ultimate law authority in their respective jurisdictions. The sheriff absolutely has the power and responsibility to defend citizens against all enemies, including those from our own Federal Government. History, case law, common law and common sense all show clear evidence that the sheriff is the people's protector in all issues of injustice and is responsible for keeping the peace in all matters. The sheriff is the last line of defense for constituents and America's last hope to regain our forgotten freedom.

Mr. Mack lectures and gives seminars on constitutional issues relating to gun control, law enforcement, States' rights, the drug war, and the oath of office. He has also been a consultant for lawyers and people in general helping them with cases of unlawful arrests and police misconduct.

Sheriff Mack was an inspiring speaker. I was really surprised at some of the facts that were brought out. The biggie being the Supreme Court's opinion that the states cannot be forced to enforce Federal laws. Of course the feds can withhold money to the states if they don't cooperate but that tactic comes under taxation which Congress can levy. The one problem I had was that it wasn't very well publicized. The 8:30 session for law enforcement people should have been publicized as open to the public. I came in at 9:45 and things were happening already. I feel I missed a lot. I also spoke to Chip Meister at the sheriff candidates' debate and he said he just heard of it that morning from somebody from Marquette County. All in all tho, a very good event. I thank Sheriff Mack for being here.
